Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies runningdolphins.com uses, what each one is for, and how you can accept, refuse or change your choice at any time.

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This policy explains how runningdolphins.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data in general. Version 2026-09-29.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Running Dolphins S.r.l., Viale Regina Margherita 30, 20122 Milan, Italy, VAT number IT14405110967. Contact: info@runningdolphins.com.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies do the same job in other ways: this site also uses your browser's localStorage, a small storage area that stays on your device. Both are covered by the rules on consent (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, implementing the ePrivacy Directive) and by the Italian Data Protection Authority's cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021.

3. What we use

There are two categories. Necessary items are needed for the site to work or to remember your choice, and do not require consent. Statistics items help us understand how the site is used, and are set only if you accept them. We use no profiling, advertising or remarketing cookies.

What happens before you choose

Until you accept, the site does not load Google Analytics, does not contact Google's measurement servers, and does not write any statistics cookie, including rd_utm. The campaign labels in the link you arrived from are kept only in the page's memory and are discarded if you refuse or close the tab. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from Google.

Google Analytics and data transfers

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 processes usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, referring website and the interactions we track) on our behalf. The provider is Google Ireland Limited; the data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, a transfer covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We configure Google Analytics in Consent Mode: only analytics storage is granted, and advertising storage and ad personalisation stay denied. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising.

External links: booking a call

The site links out to Google Calendar so you can book a call. We embed nothing from Google on our pages: Google may set its own cookies only on its own page, after you click, under its own policies.

4. How to accept, refuse or change your choice

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse statistics cookies with equal ease. Closing the banner with the X counts as a refusal. Nothing on the site depends on your answer: you can use every page and the AI Audit whichever you choose. We ask again after 6 months, or earlier if this policy changes materially.

You can change your mind at any time, as easily as you gave your answer: (the same link is in the footer of every page). If you withdraw consent, we stop Google Analytics and delete the _ga cookies and rd_utm from your browser; withdrawing does not affect processing done before.

You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings (see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge). Clearing site data also removes rd_consent, so you will be asked again.

5. Your rights

Statistics cookies rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code). Your rights over personal data, and how to complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, are described in the Privacy Policy. Write to info@runningdolphins.com with any question.

6. Changes

If we change the cookies we use, we update this page and its version, and ask for your choice again. This is version 2026-09-29, published on September 29, 2026.
